Amarillo Recovery Center for Drug Addiction Locations   There are treatments available to help individuals overcome addiction, including individual and group therapy. Addiction therapy is a type of counseling that focuses on the psychological and emotional aspects of addiction.   Individual therapy, also known as one-on-one therapy, provides a safe and personalized environment for individuals to explore the underlying causes of their addiction and develop coping skills to manage triggers and cravings. The therapist can tailor the therapy to meet the individual's specific needs, and the therapy can be scheduled at a time that is convenient for the individual.   Group therapy, on the other hand, provides a supportive and encouraging environment where individuals can work on their recovery together. Led by a trained therapist, the group can take many forms, including support groups, psychoeducational groups, or process groups. Group therapy offers learning opportunities, reduces feelings of isolation and loneliness, and is often more cost-effective than individual therapy.

This program provides training in modern group process: an integration of traditional methods and modern techniques
